ridgeline
never imagined i'd be so thrilled with getting my flight delayed but hey! now i get to indulge in my long-time wish to wander around the departure lounge (free phone! free internet! and free meal!) and take my time just ambling around (yes i like to live life on the edge).
some call it divine intervention, some call it our subconscious wish to infuse meaning to the gazillion random (or are they?) events in our existence, but let it be said that the past 2 months or so have been rather out-of-the-ordinary, those periods in one's life that stand out starkly against the rest of the blurry minutes, and in an amazing departure from norm i am actually, brace yourself for this, on a high. behind my pathetic attempts to fluff this up with ornamental vocabulary, i guess all i want to say is: i still don't like what's going on at work, but apart from that i can hardly complain about life in general (ok, maybe a little about my decaying eyes and prospering eyebags). such times (and notions) don't come by often and i am quite determined to savour them as they quite rightly deserve.
alright, time to go claim my free meal. upcoming week should be very interesting and my excitement levels are going off the scale (explains the fulltime grin on my mug), let's pray i don't freeze my ass off, get to see some snow, fully exercise my potential, carry the singaporean flag up high and most importantly, get to sit beside a hot friendly female specimen for the next 13 hours. adventure begins!
